Default 1990 Lumina van blows fuel pump fuse

I have a 90 Chevy Lumina van with a 3.1 motor that blows the fuel pump fuse when I put the vehicle in reverse. I can put it in drive and it does not blow the fuse. Runs fine in park also. Any suggestions would be very helpful thanks

You might have bad wires somewhere, or at some point, the wires got crossed.
Maybe try removing the reverse light bulbs and see if it still happens? If so, then someone stuck your reverse power off the wrong fuze, or maybe you have the incorrect fuze...
if that is not the case and it still blows the fuze, then somewhere wires are rubbing and grounding out...

More than likley it is in the column. Wire to pump hot in on, ok in drive, but blows fuse in reverse. I'd look at the wiring around the shifter
