Default 2016 Camaro 2SS Engine Shudder

I own a 2016 Camaro 2SS. The engine shudders at approximately 1500-2000 RPMs. Seems to happen when the engine is switching between V8 and V4 modes. Starting happening very infrequently. Now it happens all the time and seems to be getting worse. Current mileage is 13,000. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this?

Welcome to the forum.

Isn't it still under warranty?

Or you can get one of
these these
to disable AFM.

are you running the correct engine oil? afm is oil pressure activated.

seeing as your still under factory warranty...have the dealer fix it. there may be a updated pcm flash that addresses this.

Thanks for your reply. Yes it is still under warranty. I will be taking in to dealer soon and was just looking for some insight since dealer sometimes cannot duplicate and resolve these kind of problems.

request a test drive with a tech or shop foreman. make sure they are with you when it happens....then they know exactly what to lookfor and how tomake it happen.

I had the same problem, turned out to be the lock up function of the torque converter. It was replaced, now no more problems.
