Default Which oil to use

My 2014 Captiva with a 4 cylinder has 51000 miles on it, mostly highway.I bought it with about 11000 on it in 2016. It does not use oil between changes , usually change around 3k. Is there a better brand of oil to use?
I'd been using Quaker State Dextros 5/30 F/S. Yesterday I put Valvoline high mileage oil in it.Any thoughts?

Any oil that meets the specifications in your owner's manual is fine. (probably Dexos)
Brand doesn't matter. Get whatever is cheaper.
Don't take marketing jingo like "high mileage" too seriously.
