I have a 1997 Chevy Clavier that will only start by jumping the solenoid, which it and the starter is brand new. It also has a aftermarket automatic start button. (before this trouble if you tried to start it with the remote the security alarm would go off and we have to wait about a 1/2 hour. We also put on a new starter relay on it.
