I have a 92 chevy cav z24 that is shutting off while driving and after idling at a stop. The oil pressure drops and the temp goes up but oil and water are fine. The engine light comes on at initial start up but goes off minutes later (sometimes it comes back on for a few seconds while driving) so I can't take it to Auto Zone to have the codes read. Also the brake light comes on sometimes. Don't know what it is, but the first time it did this the codes said it was the temperature sensor, and the last time it did this I had to replace the starter and altenator. Unfortunately, its doing it again. Please help me.
