95 OBD1 with OBD2 plug

95 OBD1 with OBD2 plug and alternative
Most OBD2 readers have both capabilites.
The 1995 TBI is OBDI and requires an OBDI reader.
You should have a reader which must read OBD-I. While Some other readers, like the , ScanTool, Innova 3140 or Actron Cp9575 will often read both, and is provided with all of the adapters to diagnose the "older" vehicles.
Do you have the TBI or CPI injection? If yes you can post in some new thread to get your queries answered.
As a alternate method., why not trying a computer software to link your laptop to your car. This is done through a connecting cable which attaches through your USB port connector.

My daughters car says it is OBD1 on the emission sticker, but has the OBD2 plug. I know this was a tranition year (95) between the two systems, but I can't figure out how to read the codes. I know an OBD2 reader won't work and I can't jump the two pins. Anybody know Of a code reader that will work?
Thanks
