Default 96 cavalier overheating

My 96 Chevy Cavalier is overheating. I tried to bleed the coolant system with the bleeder screw and some coolant along with air bubbles comes out. Plus the fan isn't kicking on. What could be the cause?"

It could be the fan relay, the coolant temp sensor gone bad, or the fan motor.
