98 cavalier wont start
Well, we all had to start somewhere, though, I would've run and not walk away from a vehicle with unknown wiring modifications.
For all I know, this may turn out to be a kill switch or the aftermarket alarm system he's not sure of. There may also be modifications under the hood. Headaches.

Okay, then, you may have a wiring problem, defective CKP sensor, or defective ignition control module (ICM). The PCM usually don't go overnight but who knows. Make sure you have battery voltage at the IGN fuse with key on (check it with a multimeter through the probe holes on the fuse). I think AutoZone will test the ICM for you if you take it in. ok heres and updated video i cleaned all the fuses and tried to look over all the wiring, sprayed some started fluid in and it almost started. So it runs on starter fluid. anyone have a clue what could be wrong now?
Okay, at the risk of another episode of one-way conversation, I really think you should stop playing with the starter fluid. Tow it to a shop before you get hurt. Years ago a good friend of mine lost a finger fiddling around with his "new" ride. He finally got it running, drove it a couple of years, and then gave it to his younger brother who ended up flipping it over and getting himself killed. It was rather unreal like that "Christine" movie.
