hello,i have a 98 cavalier,2.2, the dash lights come on and off the theft system light stays on as well as all the other lights come on and off,today i noticed that when i tyun the steering the brake light would go on and off also the relay by the fuses buzzes,i recently took to the dealer,and was tld that they could check no futher as the battery tray was too coroded anthe cables needed to be replaced,thats done on my own but the problem still there, the car starts then it does not please advise

 

It is probably your battery. Sometimes when they don't hold a charge the electrical systems act up. Also make sure the starter connections are tight and clean.

 

yes the battery has been replaced,and the cables as well,however one question on the cables the original cable was tied to the batt tray should it remain that way if so i may have to mod the new cable
