Default Trying to find a 72 C10 starter

So the issue is, the truck had a motor swap before I got it and I'm not sure what the motor came out of. Definitely a sbc but for the life of me can't find the correct starter. Pic for reference on the right is the one that came out. The truck is a standard. I know, not a lot of detail, I don't even know the actual engine size lol.

Have you considered trying a local auto electrical shop that rebuilds starters and alternators ?
If they can' get you another starter they may be able to rebuild your old one.

find the casting numbers on the engine block. Then you can determine what the motor is and what starter is right for it.
