Is it possible to reduce the speed capability of a 2008 Cobalt Sport? My son "met" the FHP doing 118 (with no modifications to stock equipment) and I would like to be able to control the speed. Chevy Dealer said it can't be changed. Thanks

 

I believe that they will use a PCM like the Ss, if so you can visit your local hp tuner and have them change it for around $200. Also they can make it more fuel efficient at the same time

 

Yes, it can be changed to whatever value you'd like. Anyone with HPTuners should be able to change it for you. If you can't find anyone, PM me and we can work something out.
