I own a 2006 Cobalt LS and I've been hearing this rattling sound when I'm going above 30mph and come to a sudden stop but never slam on the brakes. I checked the brakes and they are still good so I'm thinking it may be the tires. Has anyone else had this problem?

Could you please provide additional information, so I may research your problem? How often does this occur? When did it start? Does it only occur when you brake? You stated that you checked the brakes, did you take the vehicle to your dealer to have the work done? The more information you can provide, the better the chance we can come up with a solution.
