Cobalt This sporty compact was faced with the difficult job of replacing the popular Cavalier, but whether the base model, or the supercharged SS is chosen, is has made for a great replacement.

Default Door/Turn Signal/Seatbelt Chime

Hello I am new to these forums, and was wondering if anyone could help me find a part number for my 2005 Cobalt Door Chime/everything Chime. I went to the dealership and was told that it cost $125.00 roughly. I know if I find it on rockauto.com it could be cheaper but it's vin specific. I just need to find the section where i could find this part.

The problem with my chime is that it's at a very low volume, and you could barely hear it when you turn on the car.

Moleymole,

I can assist you with determining this part number. Can you please private message me your VIN so I can determine the correct part number for your chime? Look forward to hearing from you!

I am having the same problem. Didn't think it was a chime I figured it had something to do with the drivers speaker being dead. Also, the passenger speaker only works from time to time scares the crap out of me every time it decides to work. Samething happened to our Malibu too. I would be interested to see how this turns out.

to my knowledge the newer ones work off the speakers and the older ones work off the chime. But I'll have to check out the speakers before I proceed.
