07Colorado Rear Brakes
Hi Fellow Colorado Lovers,
what is up with these 5/32 thick, squeeling, drum warping brake shoes on the rear of these Colorados? i have 30,000 on my 2007 and just had the extremely unpleasant task of replaceing these outrageously expensive brake shoes with the really difficult torsion spring bar hold-downs. i certainly don't want to spend this money or do this job every 15,000 miles. i am told by the chevy techs at my favorite agency that i got double the mileage that i was supposed to out of the original shoes. they usually onlylast 12-15,000 miles. this is ludicrous and crazy. this is 2008 and 99% of all vehicles come with 4 wheel disc brakes. is there anyone out there who has converted the rears on a Colorado to disc? HELP!!!
