Exclamation AC/Heater stops & starts on its own on my 2005 Colorado

Why would my ac/heat completely stop working & occasionally start working again at any give time? I replaced the resistor & wiring harness & th blower motor works fine on a direct current. Everything works perfect WHEN there's power. Any ideas????

Bad ground!
Mine kept burning out blower motor resistors. On the right inside of the fender is a ground connection with a one piece connector. I cut the connector, soldered all the wires into a copper battery cable crimp type connector, sanded down the fender area to remove the paint. Dabbed a little lithium grease on the fender area and bolted to the fender. It quit burning out resistors. I haven't had a problem since. Same truck 2005 Colorado.
