I have a 2012 Chevy Cruze that every time it rains it shuts my engine power "engine power reduced", it also tells me to "Service stabilitrak", "Service Traction Control" and the check engine light is steady on along with what looks like a slippery when wet road sign light on the dash. The radio is fine and the car sounds like it is at a rough idle for some god awful reason. I've had this problem now about 10 times each time something different. Once was the fuses were wet, another time the throttle body and sensor were bad, another time I had the special service done for the water pump along with the a few other things minor and the dealership for free. Now yet again I was out in the rain and the car cut my power 2 miles from home and I had to limp into my parking space. Anyone know what could be causing this? Why hasn't there been a class action lawsuit about this feature of the car? Seems like people could have died from Chevrolet putting this "safe mode" into their cars. Its sad to say that I once owned a Mercury Sable up to 170,000 miles and it was a more reliable car that the dud of a Cruze. Any info would be helpful since I need to get this sorted out and I'm on a limited budget....
I have been having these same exact problems in almost the exact Time frame. Can someone tell me what to do from this point. It's my only vehicle and don't feel safe with my child in the car at this point.
I have a 2017 camaro and have had my car in the dealership 4 times now for the same issue. Stabilitrak and check engine lights come on.. car loses all power, automatic transmission revs high as it stays in first gear, gauges go blank and stop working, AC stops blowing cold air, and when you stop and put the car in park, you get a message saying shift to park even though it is in park and the car won't fully turn off... it is extremely dangerous!! 1st time dealer fixed cam shaft sensor, second time the same, third time they fixed that and a sensor on the transmission and a wiring harness on the transmission. Now 2000 miles later it does it again. They are now trying to charge me almost $1700 .. these are the exact words of the dealerships technician "we are guessing it is the engine wiring harness, problem is there is only 4 of them in the United States so not sure we can get one" ok 1st off its a 2017 how did a engine wiring harness go bad? 2nd your guessing? And 3rd your GM how to you not have or can't get a GM part? So I very kindly asked the guy if they couldn't get a harness if I was suppose to take it home plant flowers in it and make it a $450 a month flower pot! Its all over the internet about stabilitrak problems yet I never see solutions! I love my car and want to keep it but need some concrete answers as to whats wrong with it! I did call main GM this morning and waiting for an expert to call me back.. of course the car went out of warranty 1000 miles ago so now instead of the $200 deductible I have to pay it all!! I need help!!

I had the same issue, it was the PCV diaphragm causing a vacuum leak in mine. Had to replace the engine valve cover. Couple months later I had a coolant leak and ended up blowing head gasket. Turned out it was a small house on the front of engine causing the leak. I had 151,000 miles on it when all of this happened.
