Default High engine temp

2014 cruze LT. Ac off due to high engine temp- normal temp. Check oil- just changed a few hundred miles ago. Engine light on. Power reduced. Service StablilTrak. Service traction control. Cooling fan running fast and still runs after engine is shut off. Motor shaking a lot when running. Happened last night, been sitting all night and still the same. Coolant level is fine. Whay could it be?

You state that the engine light is on. Have the code read! Advance Auto Parts, Autozone, O'Reilly, etc. will read the codes for you for free.

You need someone with a scan-tool to read the codes. The auto parts stores will do it for free. Post the codes here.
