06 equinox has a water sound in the dash i think. it can only be heard when you accelerate from dead stop slowly. will not do it turning right or left or backing up. also musty smell from defroster only any ideas? thanks!!

 

Problem was blown head gasket that was damaged on installation. 70k miles. Number 1 cyl. had ding in steel compression ring on gasket.
