I have a 2008 equinox and when i turn the key to the on position it makes a whisle noise before cranking. It dosn't happen everytime usually after it sits awhile. does anyone have the same problem???

I would suggest that you have your vehicle checked at your local dealership. Your vehicle should still be covered by the 3 year 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty (depending on your mileage) which would cover you for this kind of fix, under normal circumstances.
