Default Trans fluid service

Hi all.... the manual states that at 75k, the trans fluid should be checked. Im going to assume this can only be done by a mechanic or at the dealer. Will there be a dash warning if the fluid is low???

What year and which engine & transmission does it have? I'll assume it's a newer one with either the 6-speed or the 9-speed. You can check it yourself if you know what you're doing, but it doesn't have a dipstick nor does it have a fluid level sensor/warning. Either way, at 75k miles you'll definitely want to get the fluid changed regardless of what the manual says.

the manual states that at 75k, the trans fluid should be checked. 45K is generally accepted, conservatively, as the maintenance point.
[Im] going to assume this can only be done by a mechanic - No any sufficiently talented / equipped owner can perform the work.
or at the dealer. - Again no
Will there be a dash warning if the fluid is low??? Also a no.
