when two remotes are in the car
What determines which remote is recognized? Yesterday wifey and I got in the car, 2019 Equinox. When I started the car it went to seat position 1 which is her fob! The display showed Driver #1. When both if us get in the car at once and we both have our fobs how do I get it to recognize the one in the driver seat? I've dug around in the manual and didn't find anything. I can't believe this is a new issue so I must be missing something. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Ron

I was afraid of that!!! Strange thing is there seems to be a sequence that determines when it recognizes one fob over the other. I'm paying attention to what that is in hopes of identifying what I need to do the get the right one selected. The only problem we've had with the phone is that when the car is in the driveway with the engine running it won't unpair from the phone even if it's in the house 10-15 feet away.. We only have one phone so competition isn't a problem for us.
