04 express 1500 tail lights stuck on

Please need advice on fixing the stuck on tail lights thanks

I remember about ten years ago having this same problem w/ my car the 99 trans am, the third tail light in the spoiler was broken replaced the bulb and tail lights went off then started operating normal.

park or brake lights?
if brake lights...unplugged the brake switch connector...if they go out the switch maybe be bad

not sure if it's brake lights or the parking lights, this is a van I'm considering buying.

OK if I look at this van I check the switch I assume it's down there at the foot pedal? what if it's the parking brake?

if I remember correctly when the trans ams 3rd light went out it caused the parking lights to be stuck on I maybe wrong though

strange I've owned the TA for just over twenty years an never had other than the 3rd bulb go out. .
