If you try the hammer under the tank....bang it good...a tap won't do anything.....
I had mine go in a friends driveway....that trick got it started and then I drove it to Canadian Tire for the 680 dollar repair.

 

Tried to start the van 2 other times and failed. So yesterday I finally had some time and was going to see if I could figure out what was wrong. I turned the ignition over just to see if I needed to hook the cables up or not and it started and has been running like a champ ever since.... Any ideas? Now I am worried I will be stranded at a job site....

 

But take it to your mechanic ,, tell him all that went wrong with it ,, Chevy had issues with the PATS key system ,, the chip that allows the vehicle to be used by the correct key.

I am not 100% on how this system works I do not remember if it disables the starting circuit or fuel.

But would have mechanic give it a good look over checking the fuel pressure.
