Default Brake light dimming whit use.

I just noticed that repeated brake pedal use will start to dimm brake lights (all of them, even the 3rd one). After a few minutes, all is ok. But then againm, in a stop and go traffic, they will start to dimm to the point of they are completly off. After a few minutes again. All of them, at the same time, with the same "dimming". bulbs seem to be ok as the hazzard, and regular light are ok.

This is really odd, Can it be the pedal sensor?

no. pedal sensor simply tells the turn turn on and off, not how much.

Replace the fuse. If that doesn't help, you've probably got a bad socket, bad ground, bad connector somewhere etc.

But you're going to have to provide more details about your van like year.

Oh. Yeah, sorryEXPRESS van 1500 2001. I replaced all rear bulbs with LED. Not a fan of their brightness, but their instant response to input. And again almost no diference of brake engaged por not. But they switch fast.

ohhh you should have mentioned that.
If the LEDs are poorly made, then I can see them causing problems like that. Try switching back to incandescent for a while and see if the problem comes back.

Taillights in these have an issue with corrosion on the grounds on the connectors at the tail light assembly. You can clean them or solder the wires to resolve it.

Yeah, sorry. I think I already knew LEDs could be the culprit, I was just hesitant to realize that those cheap Amazon LED would give problems. I will go back to regular bulbs and then clean as William suggested.

New development. I replaced all tail LED with regular bulbs. No effect. Same bizzarre behaviour. Sometimes they work sometimes they dont. No pattern. Just randomly they work or dont. Went to the shop and based in the fact that the cruise control sometimes works and sometimes doesnt, the tech guy said he wants to replace the swith.

So... if the pedal switch is just an on/off switch, why that plastic part has 6 pines?? And, looks everytime it fails, also the cruise control stop working. Really?
