I can only find 11 fittings to grease (5 on front drivers side and 6 on passengers side) but i seen somewhere they said theres supposed to be 12. Its a 2 wheel drive with a 4.8. Is there a fitting hiding in one of the ujoints?

 

here are some areas you can check...


Steering linkage:
- Pitman arm to intermediate rod (x1)
- intermediate link to centre link (x1)
- Centre link to tie rod (L+R)
- Tie rod to knuckle (L+R)
- Idler arm (L+R)
- Idler arm to centre link (L+R)
* some idlers only have 1 set

Suspension:
Upper balljoint (L+R)
Lower balljoint (L+R)

 

I don't have a hoist or ramps and stinging bugs make it a challenge. Maybe the shop can do the last one.

 

... and yes driveshaft u-joints often have grease fittings too
