1993 g20 5.7 l v8 Transmission issue that I had it solved ,but the remanufactured is a 4wd with a short shaft oversight . However I found BUSTED FLYWHEEL I REPLACED . I then reinstalled old trans drove down the road .Filled torq convert via pump (no pint add to TQ) transmission guy said forward and reverse gears to fill you will fill it pull. Well I did I drove it back and forth then stopped working except very low gear .

I need advice do I remove fill converter reinstall?

How much transmission fluid have you put in? It takes something close to 14qts I think.

 

I had a major foul up in watching videos on youtube could only find info on 4l60e . Forgetting mines was a 80e so hope to be back up tuesday parts supplier closed til monday OOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPPsss... Selling or trading a 4l60e 4x4 if needed Wolfsbounty@gmail.com

 

No idea they came with 4L80E in the G20 those years.

 

I didn't think so either, maybe on a g30 but on a g20??? I was wanting to upgrade to 4l80 on my 92 g20 but 4l80e was only on 93 up so I went with Vette trans. 4l80e with closed loop shifting was like $6000
