Default I want to pull out aux hvac control need help

I just got me a 2014 2500 Express. I want to route a power cord for a dash cam up behind the rear view mirror into the headliner. there is already a little cut out in the headliner but I need to get the aux hvac panel that's in the headliner out so I can tap power and hook up camera. my gut says it's just a pressure fit but I'd feel better if I knew for sure how I needed to pry it out so I dont jack up my ne wd ride with the first mod.

thanks

you should just see some plastic tangs through the gap around the perimeter. Gently press them with a flat screwdriver and they should release.

I need to tap into that too for hardwiring my dashcam and trailer TPMS. If possible, take a couple pics of the retainer clips in the headliner holding that hvac control board in place. Mine van is brand new and dont want to tear up the headliner in my first month of ownership.
