Default Power Window problem. Doesn't work with circuit breaker, fuse OK!

Hi everyone. I got an Express 3500 recently and have started to have problems with my power windows not working. I traced it down to the 25A Circuit Breaker in the fuse box under the driver's seat. Even though the CB continuity tested ok, I temporarily sent power with a power probe and the windows worked. Replaced the CB and the windows did not work. (New CB continuity tests ok) I then put in a 25A fuse and the windows work. (so far, its only been a few hours.)

I was wondering if anyone else had the same or similar issue or any ideas why a circuit breaker would not work, but a fuse would?

Thanks!

Could be a weak or slow-trip breaker not handling the initial motor surge fuses react faster. If the fuse holds, just run it. Common issue in these vans.

Hi Robby, thanks for the reply. For kicks and giggles I put the CBs (both new and old) back in and the windows now continued to work! I guess I'll just carry around the fuse as a backup.
