Blower Motor stopped working
It’s generally recommended to replace the resistor and blower motor at the same time. Considering the amount of water you state has been inside the HVAC box/blower, I highly recommend you replace both, regardless of how new either one may be.
Try tapping on the blower motor with the handle of a screwdriver (preferably rubber or wood) - if the speed stabilizes while tapping and/or remains stable until the motor is shut off and restarted, the motor has corrosion build up internally. A new resistor won’t fix it.

Do not let the motor “free wheel” as you’re spraying it with air - apply light pressure with one or 2 fingers on the wheel edge as a drag to prevent it from spinning too fast.
You can try cleaning the motor with electronic contact cleaner and compressed air - just keep in mind the corrosion has already started to form and will continue to form, eventually causing motor to fail.
