Default Brake Issue

Alright. The brakes on my 81 Chevy had good pressure, however they were sticking a bit so I took the caliper off and rebuilt it. Pretty easy task, but now with them back on and union torqued to 25ft/pnds (haynes manual) The brakes will build pressure and hold it after about 5-10 pumps with the truck off. But with it running the pressure is not there. Also the pedal comes back really slow. I bleed the brakes a bit, and when i finished there was no air, however I heard air can get stuck at the bottom of the piston in caliper, and someone else even said brake booster, but that is a big job I hope not to do, and the brakes were working fine before i took he caliper apart (pressure wise).

Thanks
