I'm building a 1989 5.7 TPI to put in a 53 pick-up. Transmission is automatic with a 4:11 rear gear. Headers and CAI. It will be a cruiser...never will see the track. Looking for torque....low thru midrange. Will be having the PCM tuned as required. Question is....what would be a good cam for this set up. Love the sound of solid lifters (I'm an old guy) and a noticeable idle. Thanks for any help from TPI experience. sojo
