I think what they are trying to say is that the deeper pan inherently uses

more transmission fluid to begin with.

Ergo, more fluid with a larger area to move in will disperse more heat.

The additional fluid with the same amount of impurities found in your average

4L60 transmission means less dirt per quart, overall.

Add in the larger filter, one would at least hope it's also doing a better

job filtering out the dirt.
