Ok with it being christmas season and all I was with my wife looking at christmas lights in my 00 silverado. I needed to turn my head lights off and there is no possible way. Is there a fuse or rely I can pull for the night auto head lights?

 

I had the same problem driving my buddies truck one time where I had to turn the lights off. I started by turning the dial a couple times on and off. It worked but I can't remember how many times I messed with it. Give it a try.

 

pull the drl relay in the enginge compartment fuse box.

 

Put the park brake on.

 

Push the dome light override button several times until the lights go out. Also allows you to use he manual head light switch.

 

parking brake trick works on older model trucks (my 97), I also need to find out how to do it on my 01.
