Default ECM Software

I'm trying to find a software program that I can use to connect my computer to my 2002 Suburban, to monitor and record data from all of the engine sensors. I downloaded EFI Live but I don't know if my ECM is covered in their program, which leads me to my next question - can you just plug a USB to OBD2 cable into your computer or do you need some kind of external device (like their flashscan or autocal) for your computer to be able to communicate with the ECM? I know the ford guys can use FORScan, and most of the OBD-USB cables on Amazon say they're for FORScan.
Thanks.

What to do about software development is not such a simple task as it seems on the 1st glance, but still I know one company which does it well, and I know which company can do it for you successfully. You should just go to This Perfsol website is where you can find the best company for you which deals with software development and otec. I can tell them that this is the best option at this point in time, which is only available at all.
