Default First gen 350

What's up guys. I'm new to this forum. I am picking up a Chevy 350 first gen off a friend and I'm trying to make at least 500 to the wheels but how easy do these engines make power ? I was thinking about starting off with dart aluminum heads. And then an eagle rotating assembly. The reason why I'm curious on knowing how easy these engines make power because I'm wondering if I should stay n/a or use a power adder. Want to know what's best for a daily driver. Hope someone out there can help me out lol.
