Default How to Disconnect the Speakers?

Is there any way to disconnect the speakers so that no-one can play the radio or any music, preferably also if warning noises from car would also be disabled.

2003 Suburban 1500 5.3L

A mechanic said the door chime is coming from one of the speakers. He said he'd have to open the driver's side door to disable it and quoted me $110.

I'd rather just disable them all. Preferably in a way so that if I later want to sell the truck, it can be re-enabled for the next owner.

How much should I expect for something like this to cost?
