I have a 1999 Chevy Suburban. My Autistic son decided to pull my key out of the ignition while I was driving . The vehicle continued to run and i quickly inserted the key back into the switch without issue. I got home shut off the engine and everything seemed fine.
This morning the key will insert into the ignition but it will not turn the ignition switch.

Any Ideas?

Sounds like something is broken in the ignition switch.. you may have to get it replaced.
