Default motor identification

Can anyone help figure out what motor I have? All I know is that its an old chevy motor but I cant seem to find any info on it. vo419yv

the best you can do is get all of the numbers off the block, if they are real hard to see take a wire wheel and clean it up, but whne you get the numbers call your local gm dealership and see what they can do

The yv suffix code makes it a 1968 327, 240 hp truck engine, 4 barrel carb, with a TH400 trans. V means Flint engine plant, 0419 is April 19th build date.
