Default P0010 code after oil change

My wife's '06 Uplander had a low oil level warning the other day and was time to change it anyway, so I gave it an oil change. I don't find any leaks, I think the darn thing burns oil and with only 39k miles. I have been using synthetic since I bought it, I decided to switch back to conventional to see if the oil loss gets better.

Anyway, now I get a P0010 (intake camshaft position actuator solenoid) error code. Also, shifting is now jerky, this seems common with the error code from what I have read from my internet searches. I also have read that the code sometimes comes up after low oil warning and that the actuator is hydraulically driven. Do you think there is a actual failure? Does the ECM need to be retrained or cleared in someway?

I just found this:

A code P0010 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
  • Faulty oil control valve (OCV)
  • Open or short in the VVT/VCT circuit
  • Open or short in the OCV / solenoid valve
  • Damaged computer (PCM)
Does anyone know the location of the OCV, or the correct GM naming?

Now the battery is dead, reading 5.8 V under no load.
