im havin the same problem. i have a 71 impala and it starts and runs fine but after about 15 mins it starts acting like its not getting gas. It just starts idling real low then it will idle high again after awhile then low again. I thought maybe it was the fuel pump, changed that out and it still does it. I mess with the idle screw and it idles ok for awhile then does it again. what could this be? i have all original parts except new edelbrock intake and carb and new fuel pump and fuel filter. ????
