Transmission DTC's in '96 Tahoe 350 Vortec 4x4
I have a 1996 Chevy Tahoe 4x4 with the vortec 350. It blew a fuse that fed the Tach, Speedo and the Automatic trans. It lost all torque and would not even drive up my ramps to look underneath. I changed the fuse and now the Torque is back but , shifts into 2nd gear are very abrupt like a kick in the pants. Also I now have a P1860 DTC ( TCC PWM Solenoid Circiut Electrical). What does this mean?
Someone please Help! Thanks, John.

Well a P1 code is manufacturer specific first of all. But the solenoid was probably damaged when this happened.
P = Powertrain
1 = manufacturer
8 = not EEC related (Electronic Engine Controls)
60 = Circuit & possibly computer related
So it could be the solenoid itself or it could be somethin inline (same circuit)to the solenoid.
