after putting new plugs into my 04 tahoe 5.3 it wont start. The connector for the water sensor did break would that keep it from not starting. I did double check all the wires to ensure they were on tight on both ends... help please!!!

 

never heard of a water sensor for a gas engine? post a pic of what broke

this will not cause a no start condition
so it cranks but won't start?

 

correct it will crank but not start.

 

check your work anything not plugged in...connectors to coil packs



check for spark out of the coils with a spark tester. $15 tool.

 

I did recheck everything. I am gonna go get new wires in the morning. I dont know how old these are and as tough as they were to get off one may have pulled loose. And I am also gonna swing by the local dealership and get the new pig tail connector for the water temp sensor also. if still not going I have a spark tester and will test them.. thank you for your advice.

 

put dielectric grease on the plug boots so the new ones won't bake onto the ceramic insuator
