my 04 impala recently would not start. I was told the fuel filter was clogged so i had it changed. It worked for a week then went out. I was told the filter made the pump bad so i had that changed. Now every so often after a rainy or damp day it wont start right away. while turning the key and giving it some gas it starts. as soon as i stop giving it gas it shuts off. after about a half hour of this it finally starts up with no problem. no one has been able to give me a solution. Anyone out there have an answer?

so you think the new fuel pump is bad too? It also did this before I changed the pump

 

fuel pressure regulator. you've basically ruled everything else out since you changed the filter and pump.
