In my '07 Impala, the shifter was stuck and would not come out of park. Forced it to shift, now can't remove the key even when shifter is in park. The key will not turn all the way back. Shifter now shifts without pushing brake.

 

Sounds like you buggered up the park-lock solenoid.I would start there...take it out and see what kind of damage you've done

 

sounds like you broke a part by forcing it.

 

its an 07 do you no longer have it covered under warranty?
