Default 2006 impala ls 3.5 v6 headlights staying on

i have a 2006 impala ls that i just replaced the battery and positive battery cable, and now the headlights, just the headlights, stay on. regardless if i close n lock all doors. now, 1 would think that i did something wrong when i replaced the battery and cable, BUT, i noticed a few weeks before i did this work, when id hook a battery charger to it, the lights would stay on the whole time i was charging the battery. so, i thought it had something to do with me using a charger on it, but after i replaced everything, it fired right up and ran great! just the lights stay on? any1 have the same problem with their impala? or any car for that matter?

If neither the headlamp switch setting nor the dimmer setting has any effect, it's probably a relay. The bad news is that the headlamp relays are on the printed circuit board that make up the underhood fuse block and thus not serviceable. The whole fuse block needs to be replaced.

I just followed the advice of replacing the fuseblock (not too bad of a job) and it solved the issue of headlights staying on. Thanks guys!

I need help, my headlights stay on after my car is off, they stay on for 10+ and don't go off. So I disconnected the battery. What should I do?
