I changed the ignition switch and lock cylinder in my 04 Chevy Impala a few months ago but yesterday I got in the car and tried to turn it on and everything lights up I have a power and I have all the electronics work but there's no spark the starter isn't even trying to turn the car over I bought a new lock cylinder from the auto parts store and thought that was the problem but I'm not sure of the reprogramming procedure and when I tried it I had to reconnect one of the yellow wires that go directly into the lock cylinder the three prongs in the whole electronic system went haywire started clicking in the flashing red security light lasted for about 10 minutes and then every time I reconnected the battery it just lights were flickering and it was making a knocking sound what am I doing wrong and how can I get this fixed start to finish cuz I need this vehicle to get to work This is where im at. I want to program the lock cylinder correctly
