timing chain growls
2007 Impala LT 3.9L
Timing Chain started to growl 215,000 miles… not known if the chain has ever been replaced. This car runs great and in very good condition, perfect for a 36mile round trip for work. The Haynes manual says that TORX Plus might be required to change out the timing chain. I don’t understand “ might be required”. Does Chevrolet ***** Nilly change how a motor is assembled?
