i have an 05 impala, where the rear taillight deck is black w/ the lights in it. i recently saw a picture of the deck smoked/tinted and it looks really good. i was wondering if anyone here has done that to their vehicles or knows someone who has. and have they gotten in any trouble from the police for it?

where in the US are u located? cuz here in florida i kno its illegal. or is it like that everywhere? and is urs really dark or is it a light tint?

 

im in KY and mine is black tinted around teh 4 round lights

I think having your taillights heavily tinted like that is illegal or at least in our state. Just my 2 cents.

Mine isnt completly tinted, just around the circles.

 

I'd say go for it. As long as they're not so dark that you can't see the light through them.

 

yeah i have my tinted too, i havent had any trouble from the cops...i used "night shades" u can get it on ebay its like spray paint its tight but it does fade from the sun over time.
