Post Traction Control Servicing / ABS Light

I have a 2001 Impala. Lately the service traction control light has been coming on along with the abs light. When that happens the traction control off also comes on. I had my brakes looked at, (although I don't know if they checked the abs or not) and was told they were fine. The lights only come on when barely moving either right or left in a parking lot and stopping from a very slow rate of speed. Is this possibly a sensor?

Check and clean the connections behind the wheel, where the wire comes up
from the hub, and snaps together by the strut. Every time mine acts up, cleaning it
will give another year of trouble free service before it needs to be cleaned again.
If that doesn't work, then look at the more expensive fix. Let me know if this works for you.

My husband will checking the hubs soon to see if they need to be cleaned. And no my speed o meter hasn't been acting strangely. At least not yet. I have had to replace the gas pump device because the gas gauge had quit working.

The Traction Control/ABS issue is common and is either a bad wheel hub/wheel speed sensor, or a bad speed sensor harness
