I have a 1998 Malibu and have been having some problems with it. I'm not sure what kind of problem I am dealing with but here it is. When starting my car, my airconditioning and electric windows won't work.It may take approx. 1 to 30 minutes before the air will start to work and I will be able to put the windows up or down. There are some days that I have no problem and everything seems to work fine.

I took it to the mechanic and he said it was my ignition switch. So he switched out the ignition switch. The problem did not stop. I took it back to him again and he seems to be blowing off the problem stating he has to ask his GM guy. I am tired of waiting on him asking his GM guy many of times.

I am not sure which direction to go with how to correct this problem. So if anyone out there has any thoughts on what this may be, I am willing to listen.

Well I know what I would do with a problamatic 10 year old car...however if Trading it is not an option.....does the power locks and other things work?? is it just the windows and AC?? they are not tied together in anyway......hmmm.....bad ground??, weird that only these 2 things are not working ....
